In memoriam Bernhard Wilpert


This website is dedicated to the memory and legacy of
Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Bernhard Wilpert.


Bernhard Wilpert (1936 –2007), one of the most renowned European social scientists, died of leukemia on August 20, 2007. His ashes were committed to the earth in a solemn ceremony at the Friedhof Heerstrasse in Berlin, Germany. With his death, the psychological community lost an inspiring colleague and a productive researcher, but many of us lost, above all, a most amiable and cordial friend.
